| mMD.net Synchronizer serves as a middle-tier between the point-of-care mobile templates and the “back-end” applications, such as, Clinical Data Repositories (CDR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and Practice Management Systems (PMS). With the highly modular design of mMD.net-EHR, hospitals and practices may chose to continue with their legacy applications and existing IT infrastructure by deploying mMD.net Synchronizer as a middle-tier. In fact, most of the healthcare providing organizations – hospitals, group practices, and public health systems – need to deploy either or all of mMD.net-Charts, mMD.net-CPOE, mMD.net-ChargeCapture, and mMD.net-EHR along with mMD.net Synchronizer, and they would be able to make their existing applications mobile, which would be HIPAA compliant, secure, and seamlessly integrated with existing HIS and CDR. mMD.net Synchronizer does not store any patient data. It is primarily deployed to provide 128 bit encrypted secure wireless access to authenticated providers and authenticated mobile devices. |
